From glancing at the instructions it looks like they use the same solder points, can alternates be used for the lights or vice versa? Thanks for the quick reply, I guess I'll give it a shot since I already bought both without doing enough research, as usual. I layed it in place and pressed each solder point down with my iron, reheating the existing microsoft solder. Yeah hopefully that'll work but the llama guy certainly has more experience with this type of stuff than me so I'm not overly optimistic.

Since there is a button install option on the intesafire, use that to controll and leave sync for xcm. That makes sense.
