Notice: Our office does not provide copies of public marriage certificates. Information about obtaining a copy of a confidential marriage certificate can be found below. You will NOT automatically receive a copy of your marriage certificate.

You must request and pay for a copy. Certificates are generally available two weeks after your license has been returned to the Recorder or Clerk. This can be done online or in-person! Once the application has been submitted and paid for, the license must be validated. The license is only good for 60 days from the date it is issued. After the marriage ceremony, the license must be returned within 10 days to the Seminole County Clerk of Court to be recorded in the official records of Seminole County.
