Uninstall redcine x

Incidentally, I have been using the Avid recommended method, going via Redcine-x, to create R3D trim files and relink to them, then use them for any grading. Haven't tried it with v7. Can you expound upon this? Are you saying you cut with LUT applied to clips in MC, then when finished you use Redcine-X to transcode just the files you used for turnover and grading?

Then I transcode in Avid to DNx36 for editorial. When picture locks I used to re-link to the AMA source files, set "source settings" to "RedLogfilm" and make changes if necessary on a clip by clip basis [eg change a colour temp or nudge ISO].

Then either grade that in Avid [with the advantage of a client monitor] or transcode to x and then grade further in Avid. An ageing Mac Pro struggled with that workflow with 4K files, so I followed the more complex route to create R3D trims in Redcine-x, and then relink the picture locked sequence to them.
