Options Copy link. Post-master's DNP. Post-DNP certificate. DNP-prepared NPs can add the midwifery focus area. Coursework, extensive precepted clinical experience and utilization of evidence-based practice allow our students to acquire the knowledge, values and skills necessary for certification as nurse-midwives by the American Midwifery Certification Board AMCB.

Our central location, class schedules and preceptors throughout Ohio accommodate both part-time and full-time students. The certification pass rates for the American Midwifery Certification Board examination includes both full and part-time students. The nurse-midwifery specialty track prepares students for a full range of primary healthcare services for women from adolescence beyond menopause.

These services include primary care, gynecologic and family planning, preconceptual care, care during pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period, care of the normal newborn during the first 28 days of life, and treatment of male partners for sexually transmitted infections.

ACNM, Our specialty provides precepted clinical experience in a wide variety of geographic locations and clinical sites throughout Ohio. Students may be required to travel up to three hours with the State of Ohio to complete the clinical requirement. All travel is at the expense of the student. Clinical experience at a minimum of 16 to 32 hours per week throughout the clinical sequence provides students with opportunities to achieve the competencies of the specialty. Clinical seminars are used to augment the modular content of the clinical courses.

Aims To study the level of knowledge and attitude of nurses towards diabetic foot ulcers and its care in a secondary healthcare centre in sudan. Methods Validated questionnaire was used to assess the knowledge and attitude of nurses towards diabetic foot ulcers and diabetic foot care.

The questionnaire covers area such as demography, predisposing factors of ulcer formation, characteristics of ulcers, complications of ulcers,and attitude towards diabetic foot care.

Major- ity of the nurses think that colleagues are the main knowledge updating source. All demographic variables were deemed to be confounders with the knowledge and atti- tude of nurses towards diabetic foot ulcers and its care. Conclusions Nurses in this centre possess poor knowledge towards diabetic foot ulcers and its care. Good or poor knowledge does not correspond equally to good or poor attitude towards diabetic foot ulcers care. More frequent formal training of diabetic foot care would be needed to ensure better knowledge among the nurses.

Poor attitude towards diabetic foot care can be contributed by the lack of work force, high workload and lack of multidisciplinary approach towards diabetic foot care. Background: Aging is associated with the loss of muscle strength and difficulties in functional activities. Aim of the study: This study aimed to evaluate the effect of exercise training program on strength of muscles and improve elderly performance of Activity of daily living Research design: Quasi-experimental research design was utilized in the current study.

Subjects: The study sample including 80 elderly clients male and female, were collected through one year. Tools of data collection: Three tools were utilized in collecting data; tool I : Interview structured questionnaire; tool II : Muscle Strength Scale for upper and lower limbs; tool III: Katz and Akpom scale; Methods: The researcher design booklet in Arabic language and give exercises training program for elderly clients.
