Hello, After days and hours trying to figure this out, i looked through many posts and videos online and nothing. Previously i used my WNDR n as my only router, i had a modem from my cable company time Warner and i used for the main and only router then.

The Modem and router were upstairs, and my TV is downstairs on opposite side of the house, therefore the signal was terrible, and always buffering on netflix movies. I figured i would put this router downstairs as a repeater and would improve my connection on my TV, after many trials and fails i came across the powerline adapters, which sounds great to me, since it would be much faster than wireless, so i purchased and sure enough works great, i have plugged in on my PS3 now, so i have high speed and no more buffering, but i still have a weak signal on my other devices, so i have been trying to figure out a way to use my WNDR as a "repeater or AP" for downstairs, i would plug in the Ethernet cable into it, and would plug a different cable to my ps3, so i would still be able to stream videos fast and i would take advantage of the wireless signal from WNDR and this way increase the range of wireless network.

I have tried to do this many ways, all failed, if i just connect the modem WNDR without any configuration, it works but it is acting as a secondary network, when im looking for a internet on my device it appear 2 of them, one from upstairs and one from downstairs, and the internet wireless gets lost frequently.

Can anybody help me out on this? Rating Submitted Do you have a suggestion for improving this article? Characters Left : Submit Cancel. Get information, documentation, videos and more for your specific product.
